Discover the incredible world of Anglo-Saxon Northumbria and the extraordinary life of the father of English history at our 11-acre historical and environmental oasis in the heart of South Tyneside.
Featuring a museum dedicated to exploring the fascinating life and legacy of Bede, an extensive Anglo-Saxon farm (home to rare-breed and rescued animals) and reconstructed Anglo-Saxon dwellings, Jarrow Hall is also showcasing the story of Northern England through its innovation, inventiveness and imagination as part of the Great Exhibition of the North's A History of the North in 100 Objects.
