Jarrow Hall Anglo-Saxon Farm
Village and Bede Museum
Discover the incredible world of Anglo-Saxon Northumbria and the extraordinary life of Bede, the father of English history at our 11-acre historical and environmental oasis in the heart of South Tyneside.
Jarrow Hall features at its heart a museum dedicated to exploring the fascinating life and legacy of Bede, an extensive Anglo-Saxon demonstration farm and reconstructed Anglo-Saxon dwellings.
Open Thursday to Sunday 10am - 4pm, Jarrow Hall is suitable for visitors of all ages and is pet-friendly too. See our Opening Times and Visitor Information page to plan your visit.
Please be sure to wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear if you intend to visit the outdoor areas of our site; inclement weather means cold temperatures, wet ground underfoot and the potential for slippy surfaces.
