An event every day that begins at 10:00am, repeating until February 24, 2019
Come along and find our Jarrow Hall Dragon mascot in the special indoor trail. The trail is included within general admission prices alongside various arts and crafts activities.
Become an explorer!
Jarrow Hall are offering a unique opportunity to become an explorer in and around the site throughout the half term holidays.
Nature Explorer Kit
Borrow a nature explorer bag form reception to explore the wildlife our beautiful site is home to; Try your hand at pond dipping, bug hunting, meadow sweeping and bird watching. Kits are available every day from reception, these are complimentary with general admission. Suitable for 3 – 10 years old.
History Explorers Kit
Borrow a History explorer bag from reception to discover the objects and artefacts on display.
Dress up as an Anglo Saxon as your make your way around the museum and village to experience life during Anglo Saxon times.
Farm Explorer Kit
Available to the whole family and will be packed with the necessary ingredient to explore the farm and discover facts on about all of the onsite animals.
Kits are available every day from reception, these are complimentary with general admission. Suitable for 3 – 10 years old.
Bird Feeder Activity
Make your very own bird feeder to take home with you.
Meet The Owl – Monday-Friday, 11.30am- 11.45am
Our resident barn owl, Huff, will be out with his handler to meet the public on weekdays during the school holidays.
Feed The Animals Monday-Friday, 1.00pm-3.00pm
Join a member of the farm team each weekday to prepare the food and help feed some of our animals.
These activities are free with general admission but children must be accompanied by an adult.
